A note about finding Lesson Plans and Questioning Strategies in the brass|TEACHER RESOURCE CENTER.
Are you looking for lesson plans or questioning strategies to accompany brass|MAGAZINE? There are several ways to access articles and resources in the brass|TEACHER RESOURCE CENTER.
Find by Topic: We've taken all of the content available in the Teacher Resource Center and sorted it into six topics: budgeting, credit/debit, entrepreneurship, investing, life and savings. Clicking the topic icons at the top of the home page, or clicking the "Topics" tab will allow you to browse through all content available for that particular subject. This includes all articles, lesson plans and other additional resources.
Find by Issue: Every issue of brass is available in the brass|TEACHER RESOURCE CENTER. To access full issues of the magazine, click the "Issues" tab at the top of the home page.
Find by Article: If you are looking for lessons for a particular article, click the "Articles" tab at the top of the home page. We've created a table of all articles that allows you to sort by article, column and issue. Once you click on the article title you want, links to the corresponding activities are provided at the top of the page. To save you time, we've linked each article to all applicable activities.
Find by Activity Type: Click the "Lesson Plans" or "Questioning Strategies" tabs to browse through all Student Program activities. To save you time, we've linked lesson plans with all articles that may be useful for teaching the concepts of the lesson.
Videos: (available to teachers in sponsored states ONLY) To access the brass|SHOW video series, click the "Videos" tab at the top of the home page. If you would like to share the video with your students so that they can view it on their computers, simply click the "share with students" link at the bottom of the video and follow the instructions.
Digital Magazine: Students in sponsored states are eligible to receive a free digital subscription to brass for the duration of their high school careers. To register for the digital magazine, have your students visit http://www.brassmagazine.com/students.
